I’m not one to linger
I’m an altogether more perfunctory
“in and out”
kinda guy
ten minutes tops
and a quick wipe
that’s me
no champagne
no candles
no sir
but still it surprises me
for all my haste
how the unctuous
stresses & strains of the day
dissolve and melt away
in those few steamy moments.
