plants don’t scream at night
and
for the most part,
they’re not afraid of the dark,
but if you’re looking
for a shoulder to cry on,
or even just a juicy bit of gossip
well,
they’re really not much use at all,
not unless you’re prince charles
that is,
& then you just can’t
shut the little fuckers up.
