Barbie & Ken came round:
bigging up their
injection-moulded lives
I overheard her & Sindy
in the kitchen –
turns out Barbie’s been
making out with Action Man
– fell for his swivelling eagle eyes
& Ken’s been chucking his toys out the pram
but to be honest
I can’t really blame ol’ blue eyes
– she’s a real doll
just as long as he doesn’t
come sniffing round Sindy,
– perish the thought –
she reeks of butyl benzyl phthalate.
